THE REWAKING: The return to singing

Saturday | 20 November 2021 | 3pm
St John’s Episcopal Church
114 20th Avenue Southeast | Olympia

The Esoterics returned to St John's in Olympia for its first public performance in almost two years, with a program called THE REWAKING.  This concert revisited some of the group’s favorite pieces from its most recently completed season in 2019. That season, with the theme “elements of integrity,” explored four concepts -- vulnerability, inclusivity, honesty, and humility -- and featured newly-written choral music by living composers who comprised “the new majority” – namely: women, transgender people, people of color, and members of the greater LGBTQIA+ community.  The Esoterics offered two options to attend this concer: either as a member of the in-person audience, or a "virtual" viewer of the live-stream concert, you may join us for this contemporary choral contemplation of love, peace, renewal, reunion, and gratitude.
