Welcome to the POLYPHONOS 2009 Summer Fund Drive!
The winners of our 2009 POLYPHONOS composition competition will be traveling to Seattle in October to perform their commissioned works. With the economic downturn and drops in public funding for the arts, The Esoterics has launched a summer fund drive to request our community’s support for this program that is so central to our mission.
We have been privileged to be part of a community who appreciates choral music as a living art form. In our 16 years, we have performed countless world premieres and uncovered existing works and composers virtually unknown in the United States. And you, our audience and singers, have been there every step of the way. We hope that if this community bands together, providing small, individual contributions, we can continue our mission and maintain POLYPHONOS as a thriving part of this organization.
All contributors will be acknowledged at our MYSTERIUM concerts in October, both in person and in the program.
